- The planned order is in Açık (Open) status.
- The card has a released production BOM that is valid on the planned order's start day and fits the quantity.
- The card is not configurable (a configurable item is produced from a sales order).
A planned order is only a plan; material consumption, operation confirmation and output are recorded on the production order. The conversion opens a draft production order and closes the planned order — both together, in a single operation.
Steps
- Open the Üretim › Üretim Planlama › Planlı Emirler (Production › Production Planning › Planned Orders) screen.
Planned Orders list - 1Open Planned Order — manually
- 2Source — MRP or Manual
- 3Firm — MRP does not rebuild
- 4Resulting production order
- Click the number of the planned order to convert. Check the materials that will go into the order in the Bileşen Önizlemesi (Component Preview) on the detail.

- Click Dönüştür (Convert) in the window.

Result
The draft production order is opened with the number UE-yyyy-nnnnnn from the card's latest released BOM; the quantity is in the BOM's base unit, and the dates come from the planned order. The planned order becomes Dönüştü (Converted) and is linked to the order in the list. For a make-to-order order, the link to the sales order item passes to the production order. Next step: release the production order.
Convert collectively
In the list, check the boxes of the open planned orders and press Üretim Emrine Dönüştür (Convert to Production Order) in the toolbar (at most 50 orders). Each order is converted in its own transaction: if one is rejected, the others continue. The result window shows, for each order, the production order opened or the reason.
What you need to know
- The conversion can be rejected with these server messages:
- "'KOD' için yayınlanmış üretim ağacı yok — planlı emir ağaçtan üretim emri açar; ağaçsız emri Üretim Emirleri ekranından açın." (There is no released production BOM for 'KOD' — a planned order opens a production order from the BOM; open an order without a BOM from the Production Orders screen.)
- "'KOD' ağacının gg.aa.yyyy tarihinde geçerli revizyonu yok — geçerlilik daha sonra başlıyor." (The BOM of 'KOD' has no revision valid on dd.mm.yyyy — validity starts later.)
- "'KOD' için N parti büyüklüğünü kapsayan üretim alternatifi yok — alternatiflerin parti büyüklüğü aralığını düzenleyin ya da miktarı değiştirin." (There is no production alternative for 'KOD' covering lot size N — edit the lot-size range of the alternatives or change the quantity.)
- "'KOD' için gg.aa.yyyy gününde N miktara uyan üretim versiyonu yok." (There is no production version for 'KOD' that fits quantity N on dd.mm.yyyy.)
- "'KOD' temel birimi ağacın çıktı birimine çevrilemiyor." (The base unit of 'KOD' cannot be converted to the BOM's output unit.)
- "Yalnız açık planlı emir üretim emrine dönüştürülür." (Only an open planned order can be converted into a production order.)
- "Planlı emir bu arada değişti — sayfayı yenileyip yeniden deneyin." (The planned order changed in the meantime — refresh the page and try again.)
- A planned order whose start is in the past can be converted; the production order's start is moved to today.
- The production order is created as Taslak (Draft): material requirements and operations are created when the order is released, from the revision valid at that moment.
- The conversion cannot be undone. If you change your mind, cancel the production order; if the requirement persists, the next MRP run generates a new proposal.
