Prerequisites
  • The item is a concrete stock card (not a configurable parent card).
  • For in-house production the card has a released production BOM; for external procurement it has the purchasable flag.
  • There is no other control cycle for this item in the same warehouse.

Kanban replenishes a continuously consumed item container by container, without the need for MRP planning. The number of containers and the container quantity are chosen so that they cover consumption during the replenishment lead time.

Steps

  1. Open the Üretim › Kanban › Kanban Kontrol Döngüleri (Production › Kanban › Kanban Control Cycles) screen and click Kontrol Döngüsü Oluştur (Create Control Cycle).
ClickKontrol Döngüsü OluşturExpected: The Kanban Kontrol Döngüsü Oluştur (Create Kanban Control Cycle) window

  3. Select the Tedarik deposu (Supply warehouse) — the warehouse where the containers are kept and where replenishment arrives.

  4. Select the İkmal stratejisi (Replenishment strategy): İç üretim (In-house production), Dış tedarik (External procurement) or Stok transferi (Stock transfer). For stock transfer, the Kaynak depo (Source warehouse) is also selected.
    Selectİkmal stratejisiValue: Dış tedarik
  5. Enter the Kap miktarı (Container quantity, in the base unit) and Kap sayısı (Number of containers, 1–99).

ClickBoş BildirExpected: The container is İkmalde (In Replenishment); the tile shows the number of the document opened (e.g. purchase requisition TLP-…)

    4. 4Signal Empty — opens replenishment
    5. 5Mark Full — when goods arrive
Result
The control cycle is set up as active and its containers appear on the board in Dolu (Full) status. Depending on the strategy, each empty signal opens a draft production order, a draft purchase requisition or a transfer reservation; complete the document on the relevant screen.

What you need to know

  • The document opened is a draft: sending the purchase requisition or releasing the production order is done on the relevant screen.
  • If the empty signal is repeated, a second document is not opened; if the container is already in replenishment, the server says "Kap N zaten ikmalde (…)." (Container N is already in replenishment (…).)
  • Setting the cycle to inactive stops new empty signals; a container in replenishment can still be marked full.
  • The strategy and the source warehouse cannot be changed while a container is in replenishment; the number of containers can only be reduced by removing full containers from the end.
