Prerequisites
  • The Planlama stratejisi (Planning strategy) of the cards to be planned is *Stoğa Üretim* (Make-to-Stock) or *Siparişe Üretim* (Make-to-Order), and the Varsayılan tedarik yolu (Default procurement type) is filled in (Planlama Verileri (Planning Data)).
  • For safety stock, Minimum stok (Minimum stock) is defined on the card, and for the proposal ceiling Maksimum stok (Maximum stock) (Stok Verileri (Stock Data); optional).
  • The produced card has a released bill of materials — otherwise the proposal cannot be exploded.

The run converts the proposals you see in the list into documents. The list itself is always a simulation; the run writes only with MRP'yi Çalıştır (Run MRP) or with the nightly job.

Steps

  1. Open the Üretim › Üretim Planlama › MRP Koşusu (Production › Production Planning › MRP Run) screen. The list is recalculated every time it is opened; nothing is written yet.
    Open screen/erp/demand/mrp
MRP Run — planned products, proposals and exceptions
    1. 1Run MRP — writes requisition and planned orders
    2. 2Simulation — scenario, writes nothing
    3. 3Nightly job — automatic run every night
    4. 4Only items with proposals
    5. 5Proposed quantity and its outcome (requisition / planned order)
    6. 6Exception badges — hover for the message
  2. Turn on the Yalnız önerisi olanlar (Only items with proposals) switch and review the proposals. To see the reasoning for a card, click its row; the Stok/İhtiyaç Listesi (Stock/Requirements List) shows supply, requirements and proposals day by day.
    ClickYalnız önerisi olanlar
    Stock/Requirements List — item timeline
    1. 1Safety stock = item minimum; proposal fills up to the maximum
    2. 2Proposals — requirement, start, delivery
    3. 3Timeline — available quantity element by element
    4. 4Pegging — where the requirement comes from
  3. Check the badges in the İstisnalar (Exceptions) column (e.g. Tedarik süresi yok (No lead time), Ağaç yok ya da uygun alternatif/geçerli revizyon yok (No BOM or no suitable alternative/valid revision)) and correct the card's planning data if necessary.
    Verifyİstisnalar
  4. To try a scenario, optionally open Simülasyon (Simulation): enter a Tahmin ölçeği (%) (Forecast scale, %) and additional demand and press Simüle Et (Simulate). The simulation does not write anything.
    OpenSimülasyon
MRP Simulation — forecast scale and extra demand
    1. 1Forecast scale — 100 as is
    2. 2Extra demands — item, date, quantity
    3. 3Simulate — writes nothing
    4. 4Items whose proposal changes (current → scenario)
  5. Click MRP'yi Çalıştır (Run MRP).
ClickMRP'yi ÇalıştırExpected: The MRP'yi Çalıştır (Run MRP) confirmation window
    Run MRP confirmation
    1. 1Unfirmed MRP orders are rebuilt
    2. 2Make to order: order pegged to sales item
    3. 3Run
  6. Click Çalıştır (Run) in the window.
ClickÇalıştırExpected: The "MRP koşusu tamamlandı" (MRP run completed) section above the list: the draft requisition and the planned orders opened
  7. Go to the planned orders with the Planlı Emirler (Planned Orders) link in the result, and to the draft requisition with the requisition number. If there is a Talebe ya da planlı emre giremeyen öneriler (Proposals that could not be included in a requisition or planned order) list, resolve the causes.
    VerifyMRP koşusu tamamlandı
Result
The proposals for purchased cards are written to a single draft purchase requisition (TLP-yyyy-nnnnnn), and the proposals for produced cards to planned orders (PLO-yyyy-nnnnnn). The requisition remains a draft until you send it. Next step: convert the planned order into a production order.

What you need to know

  • Running again is safe: an old MRP draft requisition that has not been sent or edited, and MRP planned orders that have not been firmed, are cancelled and rebuilt. A requisition that has been sent or edited, and a planned order that has been firmed, changed or opened manually, are kept and count as supply. The cancelled documents are listed with their numbers in the result section.
  • If you want to keep a planned order, firm it or convert it into a production order before the run.
  • The window carries a single key against double clicks: a second run from the same window does not open a second requisition.
  • The proposal for a make-to-order card is generated per sales order item, and the planned order is linked to that item; the configuration comes from the sales order item.
  • It is normal for proposals to still appear in the list after the run: a planned order from MRP that has not been firmed does not count as supply.
  • If an error occurs, the window shows "MRP koşusu tamamlanamadı." (The MRP run could not be completed.) and the server's reason; the window stays open and you can try again.
