Prerequisites
  • The company has been created as an active supplier card in Business Partners.
  • No carrier profile has been added to the card yet (a card can have only one profile).

A carrier is not a separate card but the logistics profile of a supplier card: freight is purchased, and the carrier's invoice arrives as a supplier invoice.

Steps​

  1. Open the Lojistik Yönetimi › Ana Veriler › Taşıyıcılar (Logistics Management › Master Data › Carriers) screen.

  2. Click Taşıyıcı Ekle (Add Carrier).

  3. Click the magnifier of the Tedarikçi Kartı (Supplier Card) field, then find and select the card in the Tedarikçi Seç (Select Supplier) window. A card that is already a carrier appears with the warning "Zaten taşıyıcı olarak kayıtlı" (Already registered as a carrier).

  4. Enter the Yetki Belgesi (Operating License) type (e.g. K1) and number, and the Geçerlilik Bitişi (Valid Until) date.

  5. Enter the Öncelik (Priority) for its rank in carrier selection (1 is the highest priority, empty = last in the ranking).

  6. Leave Aktif (Active) selected; enter a Not (Note) if necessary, and click Oluştur (Create).

Result
The supplier card becomes a carrier: it can be selected as the Taşıyıcı (Carrier) on a shipment, linked to vehicle and driver cards, and a freight agreement can be created for it.

What you need to know​

  • After the profile is created, the linked supplier card cannot be changed; the company name and tax ID are refreshed from the card.
  • The operating license type has up to 8 letters/digits (e.g. K1, L2, R1); the priority is an integer between 1 and 99.
  • A carrier cannot be deleted; if it will no longer be used, clear the Aktif (Active) check box with İşlemler › Düzenle (Actions › Edit). An inactive carrier cannot be selected on a shipment.
  • Tender e-mails go to the e-mail address of the contact on the supplier card.
