Prerequisites
  • The quotation is in Gönderildi (Sent) status (a draft quotation must first be sent).
  • The quotation has not been revised, and has not been closed as cancelled or lost.
  • The validity date has not passed. If it has, first extend the validity by revising the quotation.

Steps

  1. Open the quotation details and click Siparişe Dönüştür (Convert to Order) in the action bar.
    ClickSiparişe Dönüştür
Sent quotation — convert, revise, lose
    1. 1Convert to Order
    2. 2Revise — opens a new revision
    3. 3Lost — closes with a loss reason
  2. In the Teklif siparişe dönüştürülsün mü? (Convert quotation to sales order?) dialog, select a Sipariş Türü (Order Type) if necessary; if left empty, the default type is used.
    SelectSipariş Türü
  3. In the line table, check the Dönüşecek (To Convert) quantities. For a partial conversion, reduce the quantity or clear the line's checkbox.
    EnterDönüşecek
  4. Click Siparişe Dönüştür (Convert to Order).
ClickSiparişe DönüştürExpected: The new sales order opens as a draft
    Convert quotation to order dialog
    1. 1Order type — default type if left empty
    2. 2Quantity to convert — reduce for a partial conversion
    3. 3Convert to Order — creates a draft order
Result
A Taslak (Draft) sales order is created from the selected lines; the order date is today. If the entire remaining quantity has been converted, the quotation is closed as Siparişe Dönüştü (Converted to Order); if a remainder exists, the quotation stays open and is shown in the list with the Kısmen Dönüştü (Partially Converted) badge. Next step: approve the sales order.

What you need to know

  • The sales order and the quotation are written in the same transaction; if one cannot be written, neither changes.
  • Prices and commercial terms are carried over according to the copy rule of the sales order type: they are either copied from the quotation or redetermined on the order date.
  • The stock commitment arises when the sales order is approved; conversion does not reserve stock.
  • The Bağlantılı Belgeler (Related Documents) section in the sales order details shows the source quotation.
