- The customer is an Aktif (Active) business partner; the products have an item master record and are released for sales.
- This screen is not used for a sales order that originates from a quotation — convert the quotation to a sales order instead.
Steps
- Open the Satış › Sipariş Yönetimi › Satış Siparişi Oluştur (Sales › Order Management › Create Sales Order) screen, or click Yeni Sipariş (New Order) in the Satış Siparişleri (Sales Orders) list.
- Change the Belge Türü (Document Type) if necessary; the default is Standart Sipariş (Standard Order).
- In the Müşteri (Customer) field, type a code or name and press Enter, select the customer and press Enter again. Sipariş Tarihi (Order Date) is today.
- On the Teslimat ve Ödeme (Delivery and Payment) tab, enter the İstenen Teslim (Requested Delivery) date; delivery planning is based on this date.
- In the Kalemler (Items) table, select the Ürün (Product) and type the Miktar (Quantity). The Birim Fiyat (Unit Price) is proposed from the price list.
- Validate the form with Kontrol Et (Check) and click Siparişi Oluştur (Create Order).

Result
The sales order is saved with number SS-yyyy-nnnnnn in Taslak (Draft) status, and the sales order details open. A draft sales order can be edited; to create a delivery, first approve the sales order.
What you need to know
- The calendar icon on a line shows the item's availability: whether it can be supplied from stock on the requested date and, if not, the earliest possible date.
- The line details (›) open a line-specific delivery date, a note and, for a configurable product, its options.
- If the customer's credit limit is exceeded, the sales order receives a credit block; no delivery can be created until the block is released.
