Prerequisites
  • The customer is defined as an Aktif (Active) business partner on the Müşteriler (Customers) screen.
  • The products to be quoted have an item master record and are released for sales.
  • A price list is assigned to the customer, or a default price list exists, so that prices can be proposed (optional; the price can also be entered manually).

A sales quotation is the record of the prices and terms offered to a customer. A quotation is first prepared as a draft; it is locked when sent, and converted into a sales order if accepted.

Steps

  1. Open the Satış › Teklif Yönetimi › Satış Teklifi Oluştur (Sales › Quotation Management › Create Sales Quotation) screen. If you are on the list screen, click the Yeni Teklif (New Quotation) button.
Open screen/erp/sales/quotations/newExpected: A form titled Yeni Teklif (New Quotation), in Taslak (Draft) status
  2. In the Müşteri (Customer) field, type the customer's code or name and press Enter; select the customer from the list and press Enter again. To search from a list, click the magnifier or press F4.
EnterMüşteriValue: M-0004Expected: The payment term and shipping method are proposed from the customer master record
  3. If the customer has a request or tender number, enter it in the Müşteri Referansı (Customer Reference) field. Teklif Tarihi (Quotation Date) is today; Geçerlilik Tarihi (Valid Until) is proposed as 30 days later — change it if necessary.
    EnterGeçerlilik Tarihi
  4. If required, enter the delivery date, currency, payment and shipping method on the Teslimat ve Ödeme (Delivery and Payment) tab; discounts and surcharges on the Koşullar (Conditions) tab; and the quotation note on the Metinler (Texts) tab.
    OpenTeslimat ve Ödeme
  5. In the Kalemler (Items) table, type the product's code or name in the Ürün (Product) field of the first line and press Enter, then select it and press Enter again. The cursor moves to the Miktar (Quantity) field.
    EnterÜrünValue: MAM-0008
  6. Type the Miktar (Quantity) and press Enter. The Birim Fiyat (Unit Price) is proposed from the price list, with its source shown below it (e.g. STANDART · kademe ≥ 100, i.e. scale ≥ 100); change it if necessary, and use the İskonto % (Discount %) field for a discount.
EnterMiktarValue: 120Expected: The line's Tahmini Tutar (Estimated Amount) and the Genel Toplam (Grand Total) at the bottom of the form are updated
  7. Continue with the next empty line for other items. When you are done, validate the form with Kontrol Et (Check), then click Teklifi Oluştur (Create Quotation).
    ClickTeklifi Oluştur
Create Sales Quotation — completed form
    1. 1Customer — type code or name and press Enter; magnifier or F4 opens the list
    2. 2Valid Until — defaults to 30 days later
    3. 3Tabs — delivery, payment, conditions, texts, address
    4. 4Product — type code or name and press Enter
    5. 5Quantity
    6. 6Unit price — proposed from the price list, source shown below

Result

What you need to know

  • Kaydet (Save; Ctrl+S) saves without closing the form; Teklifi Oluştur (Create Quotation) saves and opens the quotation details.
  • When you leave the screen with unsaved changes, the system asks you what to do: you can stay on the page, save as a draft and leave, or discard the changes.
  • The quotation date cannot fall in a closed posting period; the validity date cannot be earlier than the quotation date.
  • Price determination order: customer-specific price → campaign → the customer's price list (or the default list if none) → group discount. Details: Price lists.
