# Turn a module or feature on or off

> Turn a module or feature off or on in the installation — save it through the impact window.

- **Prerequisites:**
  - The module is covered by the license (a **Lisans dışı** (Not licensed) module cannot be turned on).
  - Before turning it off, the pending work in that feature has been discussed — it does not progress while the feature is off.

## Steps

1. Open the **Yönetim › Özelleştirme › Genel › Modül Yönetimi** (Administration › Customization › General › Module Management) screen.

2. Click the module's row in the **Modüller** (Modules) list on the left; the module's features open on the right.

3. Check or uncheck the **Modül açık** (Module on) box at the top right for the whole module, or the feature's box for a single feature (e.g. **Satış teklifi** (Sales quotation)). "N değişiklik kaydedilmedi." (N changes not saved.) appears at the bottom.

4. Click **Kaydet** (Save). The **Modül ayarı kaydedilsin mi?** (Save the module setting?) window lists the features to be turned off and on, the open work in the features to be turned off and the screens to be removed from the menu.

5. Read the list and click **Kaydet** (Save) in the window (the button is red if something is being turned off). To cancel, click **Vazgeç** (Cancel).

**Result:** The screens of the feature that was turned off are removed from the menu and its requests are rejected with "Bu özellik kuruluşunuzda etkin değil." (This feature is not active in your organization.); no data is deleted. A feature that was turned on becomes visible to users with permission within 30 seconds at the latest.

## What you need to know

- The **Yönetim** (Administration) module cannot be turned off.
- Turning off a feature also turns off the features that **depend** on it ("— … ile birlikte" (— together with …) in
  the impact window). Dependencies: [Module management](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/yonetim/modul-yonetimi#moduller-ve-ozellikler).
- Turning a feature off does not change roles; when the feature is turned on again, the permissions take effect
  automatically.
- If another administrator saved at the same time: "Modül ayarı siz düzenlerken değişti. Sayfayı yenileyip
  yeniden kaydedin." (The module setting changed while you were editing. Refresh the page and save again.) — click
  **Yenile** (Refresh) and do it again.
- Without the `company-profile.edit` permission, the boxes are disabled and "Değiştirmek Şirket Bilgileri düzenleme
  yetkisi ister." (Changing this requires the Company Information edit permission.) is shown.
