# Organization chart

> Organizasyon Şeması (Organization Chart) — company, department and team units, the users attached to units and the roles assigned to units.

The company's units (company, department, team) and the users attached to them. The screen's hint: "Şirket,
departman ve ekipler ile bunlara bağlı kişiler. Bir birime rol verdiğinizde o birimdeki herkes rolü
otomatik alır." (Company, departments and teams and the people attached to them. When you assign a role to a unit,
everyone in that unit receives the role automatically.)

## Sections

| **Birimler** (Units) | The unit tree and the users under each unit. Search: "Birim veya kişi ara…" (Search unit or person…). |
| **Birime bağlı olmayanlar** (Not attached to a unit) | Users who are not attached to any unit; they are attached to a unit with **Birim seç** (Select unit) on the row ("Birim seçtiğinizde yukarıdaki şemada o birimin altına taşınırlar." — When you select a unit, they are moved under that unit in the chart above.). |

A user row has **Başka birime taşı** (Move to another unit) and **Birimden çıkar** (Remove from unit). A user's unit can
also be changed on the **Kullanıcılar › Kullanıcıyı Düzenle › Organizasyon Birimi** (Users › Edit User › Organizational
Unit) tab (`organization.edit`).

## Units and permissions

- The roles assigned to a unit are added to the effective permissions of **every user** in the unit; the change applies
  to all members immediately.
- Only the user's **own unit** counts: the roles of a parent unit are not passed down to a person in a sub-unit.
- The user who is the unit's **Yönetici** (Manager) automatically receives the permission to view and edit service
  calls.
- Roles that come from the unit are not shown in the **Roller** (Roles) column of the **Kullanıcılar** (Users) list.
  When looking for the reason why a person holds a permission, also check their unit and the unit's roles.
