# Read the validation result and correct invalid rows

> Read the counters, the sheet summary and the messages of invalid rows in the Validate result, and correct the workbook.

  - Kontrol Et (Validate) has completed for the workbook.

The validation result states what will happen to each row; the message of an invalid row states the problem and the
expected value. The example below was taken in the demo installation with an intentionally broken copy of the
warehouse workbook (validation only).

## Steps

1. Look at the counters next to the **Kontrol sonucu** (Validation result) heading. If the **Hatalı** (Invalid) count is greater than 0, the screen reads 'N satır hatalı. Dosyayı düzeltip yeniden kontrol edin ya da hatalı satırları atlayarak geri kalanını aktarın' (N rows are invalid. Correct the file and validate again, or import the rest while skipping the invalid rows).

2. The result table opens with the invalid rows (the **Sonuç** (Result) filter is **Hatalı** (Invalid)). Read the **Sayfa** (Sheet), **Satır** (Row; Excel row number), **Kod** (Code) and **Açıklama** (Description) columns of each row.

3. To see the records to be created and updated, select **Hepsi** (All) in the **Sonuç** (Result) filter. On a row to be updated, a cell that differs from the record appears yellow.

4. Open the workbook in Excel, correct the row named in the message and save. On the import screen, select the corrected workbook with **Dosya Seç** (Choose File) and click **Kontrol Et** (Validate) again.

The remaining 13 rows are **Değişmiyor** (Unchanged) (18 rows · To be created 1 · To be updated 1 · Unchanged 13 ·
Invalid 3).

## What you need to know

- **Satır** (Row) is the row number in Excel (the header is row 1); make the correction directly in that row.
- **Kod** (Code) is the sheet's matching key; a two-part key is joined with `/` (`MAMUL/RAF-M2`).
- An invalid row **writes nothing**. Instead of correcting, you can also write the rest with **Hatalıları Atlayarak
  Aktar** (Import Skipping Invalid Rows); you then correct the skipped rows later and import the same workbook again
  — the rows already written then return **Değişmiyor** (Unchanged).
- On the **Ürün Aktarımı** (Item Import) screen, a cell can be corrected in the result table; the correction is not
  written without validating again ("Düzeltmeler kontrol edilmedi — önce **Kontrol Et**." — The corrections have not
  been validated — **Validate** first.).
