# Download the import template or existing records

> Download an import object's empty template (with sample rows) or its existing records as the same Excel workbook as the template.

  - The object appears in the Veri Aktarımı (Data Import) list (you have view permission).

The template of every import object is downloaded from the system itself; no separate template is included in the
package. The export of existing records is the **same** workbook as the template: you can download it, correct it
and load it back directly.

## Steps

1. Open the **Yönetim › Araçlar › Veri Aktarımı** (Administration › Tools › Data Import) screen. The list shows the objects in load order.

   2. Click an object to open its import screen
   3. Import/export or export only

2. In the **Nesne** (Object) column, click the name of the object you want to import (example: **Depolar ve Lokasyonlar** — Warehouses and Storage Locations).

3. Switch to the **Dışa Aktar** (Export) tab.

4. To fill in from scratch, click **Şablonu İndir** (Download Template) in the **Boş şablon** (Empty template) section. The workbook contains all sheets with sample rows.

5. To correct existing records, click **Dışa Aktar** (Export) in the **Mevcut kayıtlar** (Existing records) section. The records are downloaded as the same workbook as the template.

## What you need to know

- In the template, all cells are written as **text**; leading zeros and codes are preserved. Delete the sample rows
  and enter your own records — if a sample row is left in, it is also validated and imported.
- In the existing-records workbook, a row you do not touch counts as **Değişmiyor** (Unchanged) and changes no
  record. You are also free to keep only the rows and columns you want to change: a column that is not in the file
  does not change in the record.
- **Stok Açılışı** (Opening Stock) is migration data: existing records are not exported; only the empty template is
  downloaded.
- On the **Ürün Aktarımı** (Item Import) screen the buttons are **Kart Listesini İndir** (Download Record List; with
  the Durum (Status) and Gözden geçirme (Review) filters) and **Şablonu İndir** (Download Template); in **İş Ortağı
  Aktarımı** (Business Partner Import), **Boş şablon** (Empty template) and **Mevcut kartları indir** (Download
  existing records).
