# Warehouses and Storage Locations import

> Create and update warehouses and the storage locations (bins) within them with an Excel workbook — before the opening stock.

Warehouses and the storage locations (bins) within them. The opening stock and stock documents are linked to the
warehouse — this workbook is loaded before **Stok Açılışı** (Opening Stock). A storage location's warehouse can be
created on the **Depolar** (Warehouses) sheet of the same workbook; the sheets are processed in order.

The sample screenshots on this page were taken in the demo installation with a copy that was intentionally prepared
with errors (only **Kontrol Et** (Validate), no records were written): a new warehouse (**Açılacak** — To be
created), a bin whose name changed (**Güncellenecek** — To be updated), and an unrecognized warehouse type, a bin in
a non-existent warehouse and a negative weight capacity (**Hatalı** — Invalid).

## Workbook sheets

## Columns

The tables are generated from the same source as the system's **Alan Kılavuzu** (Field Guide) tab. If a column with
**Required: Yes** is left empty, the row becomes **Hatalı** (Invalid). All cells are read as text; `Evet`/`Hayır`
(Yes/No) columns accept no other value, and in a column with a list of allowed values the spelling must match the
list.

### Depolar (Warehouses)

The warehouse master record. If the code exists it is updated; otherwise it is created. Matching: `Kod`.

### Lokasyonlar (Storage locations)

A storage location (bin) within a warehouse. Matched by warehouse + storage location code; its warehouse can be
created in the same file. Matching: `DepoKodu` + `Kod`.

## In the demo package

`10-depolar-ve-lokasyonlar.xlsx`: the HAMMADDE, KIMYA and MAMUL warehouses and their bins (the MERKEZ warehouse comes
from the master data seed). **Kontrol Et** (Validate) in the demo installation: 14 rows · Hatalı (Invalid) 0.

## Common errors

The messages are the same as the text in the system's **Kontrol sonucu** (Validation result) table (`…` is the
variable part).

| 'DEPO-X' kodlu depo bulunamadı — Depolar sayfasında ya da sistemde olmalı. (No warehouse with code 'DEPO-X' was found — it must be on the Depolar sheet or in the system.) | Add the storage location's warehouse to the Depolar sheet first, or correct the code. |
| Ağırlık kapasitesi sıfırdan büyük olmalı; sınırsız için boş bırakın. (The weight capacity must be greater than zero; leave it empty for unlimited.) | Enter a positive number in the capacity column or leave it empty. |
