# Test a super BOM by configuring it > Enter values without saving and see which lines of the super BOM go into the order and in what quantity — the reason and calculation line by line. It works on draft and released revisions. The window uses the **same** resolver as production order release: a line included here is also included on the order. The difference: the window shows values per base quantity and without rounding; on the order, the order quantity, scrap and unit rounding are added. Default values are not prefilled in the window; you enter every characteristic yourself. ## Steps 1. In **Ürün Ağaçları** (Bills of Materials), open the BOM and the revision to test; click **Yapılandırarak Dene** (Configure and Test). 2. Enter the values in the **Özellik değerleri** (Characteristic values) section. Numbers are entered in the box with a decimal comma; the allowed range is shown under the field. 3. Select characteristics with options and Yes/No characteristics from the list. Characteristics whose precondition is met appear immediately; a calculated characteristic shows its value with the note 'Hesaplanan — kuraldan.' (Calculated — from rule.) 4. In the **Emre gelecek malzemeler** (Materials going into the order) table, check the **Sonuç** (Result: Gelir (Included) / Gelmez (Not included)), **Neden** (Reason) and **Miktar** (Quantity) columns of each line; on a formula line, the calculation is shown under the quantity (e.g. `2 * BOY * 1.02 = 25,5`). ![Try with Configuration — line results and quantity calculation](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/en/img/screens/uretim/kosul-simulasyon.png) 1. Characteristic values — entered as on the sales line 2. Characteristic computed by a procedure 3. How many lines come, how many do not 4. Calculation of a formula quantity 5. Why the line does not come 6. Expression condition Yes — line comes 5. Try the extreme values (smallest and largest value, both sides of a limit, optional field empty); to start again, click **Değerleri Temizle** (Clear Values). When finished, click **Kapat** (Close). **Result:** Nothing is saved.
