# Complete and finally close a production order

> Close an order whose production is finished with Complete, lock it with Close Finally once corrections are done; cancel the order when necessary.

  - For Complete, the order is **Üretimde** (In Production); at least one output and at least one material consumption are posted; there is no open failed backflush.
  - For Close Finally, the order is **Tamamlandı** (Completed).

The end of a production order has two steps: **Tamamla** (Complete) finishes production, **Kesin Kapat** (Close
Finally) closes the books. In the time between, an incorrect consumption or output can be
[corrected](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/uretim/islemler/sarf-cikti-duzeltme).

## Steps

1. On the detail of the order in production, click **Tamamla** (Complete).

2. Check the planned and produced quantities and click **Emri Tamamla** (Complete Order).

3. When there is no further need for corrections, click **Kesin Kapat** (Close Finally).

4. Click **Kesin Kapat** (Close Finally) in the window.

**Result:** In **Tamamlandı** (Completed), the order no longer accepts new consumptions, outputs and confirmations, but it remains open to corrections of past postings; in **Kapatıldı** (Closed), no posting can be made, including corrections. There is no way back — if a correction is needed later, a new order is opened.

## Rules for completion

- Only an order in **Üretimde** (In Production) can be completed; an order in **Yayınlandı** (Released) (with no
  physical postings) cannot be completed — it is cancelled.
- At least one **output** and at least one **material consumption** are required. If there is output but no
  consumption, the detail shows "Tamamlamak için en az bir malzeme sarfı gerekir." (At least one material consumption is
  required to complete.) instead of **Tamamla** (Complete).
- **The plan does not have to be filled**: UE-2026-000001 was planned for 3 ADET (pcs), 2 ADET were produced and it was
  completed (67%). Missing consumption is not an obstacle either.
- If there is an **open failed backflush**, the server rejects it; first retry it or close it with a reason.
- On completion: stock reserved for this order from sub-orders and not consumed is released; the difference between
  the value consumed and the value applied to the outputs (closing variance) is calculated. No new stock is posted.
  Accounting details are outside the scope of this document.

## Rules for final closing

- Only a **Tamamlandı** (Completed) order can be closed finally; no reason is asked for.
- On a closed order, consumptions, outputs, confirmations and **their corrections** are not accepted. The purpose is to
  stop late changes such as reducing consumption afterwards with a correction or posting too much.

## Cancellation

If production will not take place, use **İptal Et** (Cancel) (on an order in Taslak (Draft), Yayınlandı (Released) or
Üretimde (In Production)). In the **Üretim emri iptal edilsin mi?** (Cancel the production order?) window, the **İptal
Gerekçesi** (Cancellation Reason) is required (at most 512 characters), then click **Emri İptal Et** (Cancel Order).
Cancellation is terminal; the order cannot be reopened. If there is consumption or output that has not been reversed,
the server rejects it: first make a [correction](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/uretim/islemler/sarf-cikti-duzeltme). Example: **UE-2026-000005** was
cancelled with the reason "Talep düştü, üretim yapılmayacak." (Demand dropped, production will not take place.)
