# Write an operation condition and time formula in a super routing

> In the routing of a configurable item, define in which configuration an operation is performed and how the setup, machine and labor times are calculated.

  - The routing's output card is configurable and its configuration characteristics are defined.

A super routing is the single routing of a configurable card. It uses the same language as the BOM line rule:

## Steps

1. In **Rotalar** (Routings), open the routing of the configurable card and click **Yeni Revizyon** (New Revision).

2. On the row of the operation to receive a rule, click the **Seçim koşulu ve formüller** (Selection condition and formulas) button (screen reader name 'N numaralı operasyonun seçim koşulu ve formülleri' (Selection condition and formulas of operation N)).

3. If the operation is to be performed only in some configurations, enter the expression in the **Seçim koşulu** (Selection condition) field and click **Sına** (Test).

4. If the time depends on the configuration, enter the expression in the **Hazırlık formülü (dk)** (Setup formula, min), **Makine formülü (dk)** (Machine formula, min) or **İşçilik formülü (dk)** (Labor formula, min) field. For a field left empty, the fixed time on the row is used.

5. Save the draft revision with **Revizyonu Oluştur** (Create Revision), then release the revision.

**Result:** On orders opened after the revision is released, operations are selected according to the configuration and times are calculated from the formula; on the routing detail, the rule text appears under each operation.

## What you need to know

- If the selection condition is **Evet** (Yes), the operation is included in the order; if it is **Hayır** (No) or
  **unknown**, it is not. Empty = always.
- The formula **replaces** the fixed time (it is not added, unlike the quantity formula in the BOM). The result must be
  between 0 and 1,000,000 minutes and is rounded to two decimals. Machine and labor are per base quantity, setup is per
  lot.
- If a value read by the formula is empty, the order is not opened:
  `N numaralı operasyonun işçilik formülü hesaplanamadı — konfigürasyonda gereken değer yok.` (The labor formula of
  operation N could not be calculated — the required value is missing in the configuration.) If the result is not a
  number: `… sayı vermeli.` (… must return a number.); if it is out of range:
  `… 0 ile 1000000 dakika arası değer vermeli.` (… must return a value between 0 and 1000000 minutes.)
- The selection condition must return Yes/No: `N numaralı operasyonun seçim koşulu Evet/Hayır vermeli.` (The selection
  condition of operation N must return Yes/No.)
- If no operation is selected at all:
  `Konfigürasyon rotanın hiçbir operasyonunu seçmiyor — rotanın seçim koşullarını düzeltin.` (The configuration selects
  none of the routing's operations — correct the routing's selection conditions.)
- A rule can be saved only in the routing of a configurable card:
  `Seçim koşulu ve formüllü süre yalnız yapılandırılabilir kartın rotasında kullanılır.` (Selection conditions and
  formula times are used only in the routing of a configurable card.)
- For bulk entry, use the **SecimKosulu**, **HazirlikFormulu**, **MakineFormulu** and **IscilikFormulu** columns on the
  **Operasyonlar** (Operations) sheet of the Routings import workbook.
