# Create a routing

> Create an operation plan (routing) or a master recipe for a produced card — work center, times, scrap; the first revision is created as a draft.

- **Prerequisites:**
  - The output card is a produced (Üretim ürünü (Production item) flagged) and active card.
  - The work centers of the operations are defined and active ([Create a work center](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/uretim/islemler/is-merkezi-olusturma)).

A routing defines the card's operations in sequence. Saving opens the first revision as a **draft**; it can be edited
until it is released, and it does not change once released.

## Steps

1. Open the **Üretim › Üretim Mühendisliği › Rota Oluştur** (Production › Production Engineering › Create Routing) screen. For a process item, use **Ana Reçete Oluştur** (Create Master Recipe) (the form is the same).

2. Check the **Tür** (Type): **Rota** (Routing) or **Ana reçete** (Master recipe). The type cannot change after saving.

3. Open the **Çıktı kartı** (Output card) picker, type the code and select the card from the list.

4. If the card has another routing, this routing becomes the next alternative. Enter the **Rota adı** (Routing name) and, if necessary, the **Parti büyüklüğü** (Lot size) (minimum – maximum); an empty range means any quantity.

5. Enter the **Temel miktar** (Base quantity) (default 1). Machine and labor times apply to this quantity.

6. In the first operation row, enter a **Açıklama** (Description), select the **İş merkezi** (Work center), and enter the **Kontrol anahtarı** (Control key) (internal or external processing) and the **Hazırlık (dk)** (Setup, min), **Makine (dk)** (Machine, min), **İşçilik (dk)** (Labor, min) and **Fire (%)** (Scrap, %) values.

   3. Lot size — alternative selection
   4. Internal or external (subcontract)
   5. Minutes; machine/labour per base quantity
   6. Add Operation — number +10
   7. Save — revision 1 as draft

7. For the next operation, click **Operasyon Ekle** (Add Operation); the number is assigned in increments of 10. Fill in the rows the same way.

8. Click **Rotayı Kaydet** (Save Routing) (**Ana Reçeteyi Kaydet** (Save Master Recipe) for a master recipe).

9. Check the operations on the detail; when ready, click **Yayınla** (Release) and confirm with **Revizyonu Yayınla** (Release Revision).

   1. Edit Draft
   2. Release — with change number or from today
   3. Routing name and lot size
   4. Operation work center

**Result:** The routing is saved as **Rev. 1 Taslak** (Draft). The draft is changed with **Taslağı Düzenle** (Edit Draft); it becomes final with **Yayınla** (Release), and from then on its operations are passed down to production orders released afterwards. In the demo environment, the draft routing **Alt. 2 · Demo — büyük parti hattı** (large lot line) (500–999 ADET (pcs)) was created for MAM-0010 with these steps.

## What you need to know

- The operation number is between 1 and 9999 and unique within the routing; a routing has at least 1 and at most 99
  operations.
- The setup time is fixed; machine and labor times are per base quantity and scale with the quantity on the order.
  Times are 0 or positive, in minutes with at most two decimals.
- For an **Dış işlem** (External processing, subcontracting) operation, a purchased service card is selected as the
  **Dış işlem hizmet kartı** (External processing service card).
- To assign a tool/fixture (PRT), use the tool icon on the row (the maintenance module must be enabled).
- In the routing of a configurable card, a selection condition and a time formula can be written for an operation:

- Which routing alternative the order uses is determined by the [production version](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/uretim/ekranlar/uretim-versiyonlari)
  or by the lot size.
