# BOM component management

> Replace a component, change its quantity, remove it or add it in all BOMs that use it in one step — a new revision in each BOM.

When a component changes (the supplier item changed, the quantity was reduced, the part was removed), you do not need
to open every BOM that uses it one by one. This screen changes the component in all the BOMs you select in one step:
in each BOM **a new revision is opened from the most recently published revision**, and unchanged lines are copied as
they are. If even one BOM is rejected, no BOM is changed.

## Fields

| Field | Rule |
|---|---|
| **Bileşen** (Component; required) | The item to be changed. When selected, the BOMs that use it are listed below. |
| **İşlem** (Action) | One of the four actions below. |
| **Yeni bileşen** (New component) | Required for **Değiştir** (Replace); cannot be the same as the old one. |
| **Miktar** / **Birim** (Quantity / Unit) | For **Değiştir** (Replace), if blank, the old values remain (**Eski miktar**, **Eski birim** — Old quantity, Old unit); for **Miktarı Değiştir** (Change Quantity), the new quantity is required; for **Ekle** (Add), quantity and unit are required. Must be greater than zero. |
| **Yayınla** (Publish) | If ticked (**Yeni revizyonlar yayınlanır** — New revisions are published), the new revisions are published immediately; if not ticked, **Yeni revizyonlar taslak kalır** (New revisions remain drafts) — you review and publish them in the BOM. |
| **Değişiklik numarası** (Change number) | Only when **Yayınla** (Publish) is ticked. All new revisions are valid with the same number, from the number's validity date; if blank, from today. Only **Etkin** (Active) numbers are listed. |

| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Değiştir** (Replace) | Replaces the component with another item — primary and alternative occurrences; if quantity and unit are blank, the old values remain. |
| **Miktarı Değiştir** (Change Quantity) | The component's quantity (and optionally unit) in all occurrences. |
| **Çıkar** (Remove) | The component is removed from the BOM. The primary item of an alternative group cannot be removed with this tool — edit it manually in the BOM. |
| **Ekle** (Add) | The component is added to the selected BOMs as a new item line. |

## BOMs that use the component

The table shows **Ürün** (Product), **Alternatif** (Alternative), **Kaynak** (Source; the revision to be copied) and
**Geçişler** (Occurrences; in which item line and with what quantity the component appears, e.g. `Kalem 3: 4 ADET` —
item 3: 4 pieces; on a conditional line `· koşullu` — conditional). Select up to **100** BOMs with **Hepsini seç**
(Select all) or the boxes at the start of the rows. For a BOM that cannot be selected, the reason is shown in red next
to it:

- **Ağacın taslak revizyonu var — önce taslağı yayınlayın ya da değişikliği taslakta yapın.** (The BOM has a draft
  revision — publish the draft first or make the change in the draft.)
- **Yayınlanmış revizyonu yok.** (It has no published revision.)

Both production and engineering BOMs are listed.

## Preview and Apply

1. **Önizle** (Preview) — writes nothing. The result table shows, for each BOM, **Ürün** (Product), **Revizyon**
   (Revision; `Rev. 1 → Rev. 2`) and **Değişiklik** (Change) lines (e.g. `Kalem 3: HAM-0049 4 → 6`); if a BOM has a
   problem, the reason is shown. The header shows "Önizleme — henüz hiçbir şey yazılmadı." (Preview — nothing has been
   written yet.)
2. **Uygula** (Apply) — becomes available only after a problem-free preview of the same request ("Önizleme sorunsuz —
   uygulayabilirsiniz." — Preview without problems — you can apply.). The result is "Uygulandı — yeni revizyonlar
   açıldı." (Applied — new revisions opened.) or "Uygulanmadı — sorunlu ağaç var, hiçbir ağaç değişmedi." (Not applied
   — there is a problematic BOM; no BOM was changed.)

Applying does not change open production orders; orders and MRP runs started after the new revision becomes valid use
it.

## Common messages

| Message | English meaning | Cause |

| KOD bu ağacın en son yayınlanmış revizyonunda yok. | KOD is not in the most recently published revision of this BOM. | The BOM no longer uses the component. |
