# Work centers

> The lines, workshops and machines where production takes place; type, hierarchy, supply warehouse, person responsible, capacity, individual capacity and activity rates.

A work center states **where** production takes place: a line, a workshop, an assembly bench or a machine group.
[Routing](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/uretim/ekranlar/rotalar) operations are assigned to a work center; the work center's capacity is the
calendar of the production plan and of the [capacity load](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/uretim/ekranlar/kapasite-planlama). A work center is not
deleted; to take it out of use, deactivate it — past orders are not affected.

| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **Kod**, **Ad** (Code, Name) | The code is uppercase and unique. Clicking the code opens the record. |
| **Tür** (Type) | **Makine** (Machine), **İşçilik** (Labor) or **Diğer** (Other). |
| **Açıklama**, **Sorumlu**, **Sıra** (Description, Responsible, Sequence) | Free description, the person the work is assigned to, position in the list. |
| **Günlük kapasite** (Daily capacity) | In minutes and hours (e.g. "480 dk (8 sa)" — 480 min (8 h)), with working days below; if no capacity is defined, **Tanımsız** (Not defined). |
| **Durum** (Status) | **Aktif** (Active) or **Pasif** (Inactive). |

The **Ağaç** / **Liste** (Tree / List) buttons switch between hierarchical and flat views. Filters: **Ara** (Search),
**Tür** (Type), **Durum** (Status), **Üst iş merkezi** (Parent work center). **Dışa Aktar** / **İçe Aktar** (Export /
Import) transfer records in bulk with an Excel workbook. Editing is done from the row's **İşlemler** (Actions) menu.

| Field | Rule |
|---|---|
| **Ad** (Name; required) | The name of the work center. |
| **Kod** (Code; required) | Proposed from the name; can be overwritten. Converted to uppercase; must be unique. |
| **Tür** (Type) | **Makine** (Machine), **İşçilik** (Labor), **Diğer** (Other) (default for a new record: **Makine**). |
| **Üst iş merkezi** (Parent work center) | For grouping (e.g. machines under Talaşlı İmalat (Machining)): load is rolled up, and filters and responsibility cover the child work centers. Capacity and rates are not inherited. A loop cannot be created; a work center cannot be placed under an inactive work center. |
| **Tesis** (Plant) | The factory calendar (public holidays, half days, special working days) is read from the plant; the production plan and capacity load skip holidays. |
| **Besleme deposu** (Supply warehouse) | The material of the production order is staged in this warehouse (**Malzeme Hazırla**, Stage Material); consumption is posted from here. Must be an active warehouse. |
| **Sorumlu** (Responsible) | States who the work is assigned to (failed backflush, confirmation, capacity); it does not grant permissions. |
| **Açıklama**, **Sıra** (Description, Sequence) | The sequence is zero or a positive integer. |
| **Aktif** (Active) | If off, the work center cannot be selected for new documents and routings. |
| **Kapasite tanımlı** (Capacity defined) | If off, planning assumes 8-hour weekdays for this work center and no available time is shown in the load. |

When **Kapasite tanımlı** (Capacity defined) is turned on:

| Field | Rule |
|---|---|
| **Vardiya** (Shift) | Start – end time. If the end is before the start, the shift spans midnight. |
| **Mola (dk)** (Break, min) | Must be shorter than the shift duration. |
| **Kullanım oranı (%)** (Utilization rate, %) | Greater than 0, at most 100, at most two decimals. |
| **Bireysel kapasite** (Individual capacity) | Number of machines or people working in parallel. If individual capacities are defined below, it is derived from the number of active ones. |
| **Çalışma günleri** (Working days) | **Pzt** … **Paz** (Mon … Sun); at least one day must be selected. |
| **Günlük kapasite** (Daily capacity) | (Shift − break) × utilization × individual capacity — the exact value comes from the server after saving. |

**Bireysel Kapasiteler** (Individual Capacities): identical machines or benches (CNC-1, CNC-2). **Bireysel Kapasite
Ekle** (Add Individual Capacity) lets you enter a name, code and sequence; the code is unique within the work center.
There is no delete — deactivate an unused unit. The number of active units is the capacity count; the shift and rate
belong to the work center.

### Activity rates

**Faaliyet Tarifeleri** (Activity Rates; with the cost view permission) holds the work center's hourly rates with
dates: **Geçerlilik başlangıcı** (Valid from), **Para birimi** (Currency), **Hazırlık saat ücreti** (Setup hourly
rate), **Makine saat ücreti** (Machine hourly rate), **İşçilik saat ücreti** (Labor hourly rate), **Genel gider (%)**
(Overhead, %). The rates are used by the [cost estimate](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/uretim/ekranlar/cok-seviyeli-urun-agaci); for an operation on
a work center without a rate, the estimate total stays blank.

## Common messages

| Message | English meaning | Cause |
|---|---|---|
| '…' kodlu iş merkezi zaten mevcut. | A work center with code '…' already exists. | The code is in use. |
| '…' iş merkezi pasif — yeni belgeye seçilemez. | Work center '…' is inactive — it cannot be selected for a new document. | An inactive work center was selected. |
| '…' bu iş merkezinin altında — döngü kurulamaz. | '…' is below this work center — a loop cannot be created. | The parent work center was selected from among its own children. |
| Mola vardiya süresinden kısa olmalı. | The break must be shorter than the shift duration. | Break ≥ shift. |
| Kapasite kullanım oranı 0'dan büyük, en çok 100 ve en çok 2 ondalık olmalı. | The capacity utilization rate must be greater than 0, at most 100 and have at most 2 decimals. | Invalid rate. |
