# Multi-level bill of materials

> Explode an item's BOM level by level, see the products the item goes into (where-used) and the material cost estimate.

This report expands an item's BOM level by level together with its subassemblies, shows which products an item goes
into, and produces a material/activity cost estimate. The report does not write anything; the calculation is the same
as the planned order explosion. The **Çok Seviyeli Göster** (Show Multi-Level) link in the BOM details also opens this
screen.

The three tabs work with a shared **Kart** (Item) and **Tarih** (Date) value:

- **Kart** (Item) — an item with a published BOM (for where-used: an item that appears in a published BOM).
- **Tarih** (Date) — the day of the effective structure; blank = today. At every level, the **revision effective on
  that date** of the production alternatives is used (a revision published with a change number for a future date is
  not visible until that day).
- **Miktar** (Quantity) — in the item's base unit; blank = 1.

The header shows a summary of the selected structure (e.g. `1 ADET MAM-0004 · Alt. 1 · Rev. 1 · 10 düğüm · 02.11.2026
tarihli yapı` — 1 piece MAM-0004 · Alt. 1 · Rev. 1 · 10 nodes · structure as of 02.11.2026). Quantities are calculated
the same way as for a planned order: scale × scrap; a line with scrap is rounded up to the precision of the unit; the
alternative is selected by lot size.

| **Özet** (Summary) | The total of the same material across all levels: **Malzeme** (Material), **Toplam Miktar** (Total Quantity), **Geçtiği Yer** (Used In), **Seviye** (Level; **Ara seviye** (Intermediate level) or **En alt seviye** (Lowest level)). **Yalnız en alt seviye** (Lowest level only) filters the materials to be purchased. |

Values of the **Durum** (Status) column:

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **Altı açıldı** (Exploded) | The item has a published BOM; its components are below it (with `Rev. · Alt.` next to it). |
| **En alt seviye** (Lowest level) | An item that is not produced — it is procured. |
| **Ağaç yok** (No BOM) | A produced item without a published BOM — MRP cannot explode this item. |
| **Yapılandırılabilir** (Configurable) | Its BOM cannot be resolved without a configuration; it appears on an order opened from a configured line. |
| **Birim çevrimi eksik** (Unit conversion missing) | A conversion between the units of the item and the BOM (or component) is missing — it could not be exploded. |
| **Döngü** (Loop) | The item appears in its own parent chain — it was not exploded. |
| **Açılmadı** (Not exploded) | Level or node limit — it was not exploded. |
| **Parti büyüklüğüne uyan alternatif yok** (No alternative matching the lot size) | The item has a production BOM, but no alternative covers this quantity; adjust the ranges of the alternatives. |
| **O tarihte geçerli revizyon yok** (No valid revision on that date) | An alternative matching the range exists, but it has no revision whose validity has started on this date. |

A configurable item itself is not exploded: a super BOM can only be resolved with a configuration. To test with values,
use **Yapılandırarak Dene** (Try by Configuring) in the BOM revision

## Where-Used

The BOMs in which the item is used as a component or alternative, as an upward chain.

| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **Seviye** (Level) | Position in the chain; the row arrow opens the upper levels. |
| **Üst Kart (ağacın çıktısı)** (Parent Item, output of the BOM) | The output of the BOM that uses the item. |
| **Revizyon** (Revision) | The effective revision of that BOM. |
| **Miktar** (Quantity) | Per base quantity of the parent item. |
| **Not** (Note) | **Son ürün** (End product; top of the chain), **Döngü** (Loop), **Açılmadı** (Not exploded). |

The list shows only published **production** BOMs (all alternatives). The "Kullanıldığı Yerler" (Where-Used) tab of the
product master record also shows drafts and the engineering BOM. To replace an item in all BOMs:

## Cost Estimate

Visible only to users with the cost view permission. Estimates the unit cost using the item's effective revision and
routing:

- **Malzeme** (Material) — the stock valuation of each component (standard if it has a standard price, otherwise
  moving average); for subassemblies, the total of the components (**Toplandı**, Rolled up). An item without a value
  shows **Bilinmiyor** (Unknown) and is not counted as zero; if there is an unknown value below it, the total is
  **Eksik** (Incomplete).
- **Faaliyet (hazırlık · makine · işçilik)** (Activity — setup · machine · labor) — the **Operasyonlar (faaliyet)**
  (Operations, activity) table: **Op.**, **İş Merkezi** (Work Center), durations and the amount from the work center's
  [activity rates](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/uretim/ekranlar/is-merkezleri). A work center without a rate shows **Tarife yok** (No rate).
- **Genel gider** (Overhead) — the overhead percentage in the rate.

The estimate does not create an accounting entry.
