# Post a stock transfer

> One-step transfer between warehouses or storage locations — the issue from the source and the receipt into the target in a single transaction.

  - Available stock exists at the source location in the selected status; the stock is not in quarantine.

One-step transfer: the goods leave the source and enter the target at the same time; no stock in transit is created.
If time passes between shipping and arrival and the goods in transit need to be tracked, use a
[transfer order](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/stok/islemler/transfer-siparisi-olusturma).

## Steps

1. Open the **Stok Yönetimi › Mal Hareketleri › Stok Transferi** (Inventory › Goods Movements › Stock Transfer) screen and select the **Ürün** (Product).

2. Select the **Kaynak Depo** (Source Warehouse), if needed the **Kaynak Lokasyon** (Source Storage Location), and the **Stok Durumu (zorunlu)** (Stock Status (mandatory)). For a lot- or serial-managed card, select the lot/serial numbers to be issued.

3. Select the **Hedef Depo** (Target Warehouse) and the **Hedef Lokasyon** (Target Storage Location). A different storage location in the same warehouse can also be selected.

4. Enter the **Miktar** (Quantity) and the **Açıklama** (Description).

   1. Source warehouse
   2. Stock status — same on both legs

5. Click **Transferi Tamamla** (Complete Transfer).

**Result:** Two **Transfer** lines with a common transfer group are posted to the ledger: an issue from the source and a receipt into the target. The stock status and lot do not change.

## What you need to know

- Demo example: TIC-0004 Reflektörlü Yelek (Reflective Vest), 10 ADET, MERKEZ → MAMUL / SEVK.
- A transfer changes the location, not the status; to change the status, use
  [Stok Durumu Değişimi (Stock Status Change)](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/stok/islemler/stok-durumu-degistirme).
- The source and target location cannot be the same: "Transferin kaynağı ile hedefi aynı olamaz." (The source and
  target of the transfer cannot be the same.)
- If a storage location is mandatory in the target warehouse, a target storage location must be selected; a receipt
  into a bin without enough capacity is rejected.
- Transfers of a configurable card and of allocated stock are not made from this form: "Tahsisli hareket transfer
  veya durum değişimi olamaz — önce tahsisi serbest bırakın." (An allocated movement cannot be a transfer or status
  change — release the allocation first.)
