# Enter physical inventory counts

> Enter counted quantities in an open physical inventory count, add found products, count serial numbers and complete the count.

  - The count is in **Sayımda** (Counting) status.

The counter enters the quantity found on the shelf in the count line. A user without approval permission counts
**blind**: they do not see the book quantity or the difference.

## Steps

1. Open the count from the **Stok Sayımları** (Physical Inventories) list (**Sayımı Aç** (Open Count)).

2. In the **Sayım Satırları** (Count Lines) table, type the quantity you counted on the shelf in the base unit in the **Sayılan** (Counted) cell of the first line; `Enter` moves to the next line. If there is none on the shelf, enter 0 — an empty cell means 'not counted'.

   1. Scope frozen — no movements for these items
   2. Counted — empty = not counted, 0 = none on shelf
   3. Book and Difference — approvers only
   4. Found Item — goods not on the list
   5. Save Entries
   6. Complete Count — when every line is counted

3. On a serial-managed line, click **Seri Gir** (Enter Serial Numbers), scan or type the serial numbers found, and press **Serileri Kaydet** (Save Serial Numbers).

4. For goods found on the shelf but not in the list, click **Bulunan Ürün** (Found Product); enter the **Ürün** (Product), **Lokasyon** (Storage Location), **Stok Durumu** (Stock Status), **Lot** for a lot-managed card, and **Sayılan** (Counted), then press **Satır Ekle** (Add Line).

5. When taking a break, click **Girişleri Kaydet** (Save Entries). You can filter the remaining lines with the **Sayılmayanlar** (Not Counted) switch.

6. When all lines have been counted, click **Sayımı Tamamla** (Complete Count).

**Result:** The count moves to **Sayım Tamamlandı** (Count Completed) status; the scope stays frozen. ## What you need to know

- Demo example: **SAY-2026-000002** (MERKEZ · Yedek Parçalar (Spare Parts)) — YP-0001 24 ADET and YP-0002 4 ADET
  were entered, 2 lines were not counted; the document is **Sayımda** (Counting).
- In the **Okutarak Say** (Count by Scanning) section, select a storage location and stock status and scan a label
  or barcode: a serial number label adds the serial number, a product barcode asks for the quantity ("Ekle" (Add) or
  "Üzerine yaz" (Overwrite)).
- Cell errors: "Sayı değil" (Not a number), "Negatif olamaz" (Cannot be negative), "En fazla \{n\} ondalık" (At most
  \{n\} decimals).
- The count cannot be completed while there are uncounted lines: "\{n\} satır sayılmadı. Sayılmayan satır "yok"
  demek değildir — rafta yoksa sıfır girin." (\{n\} lines have not been counted. An uncounted line does not mean
  "none" — if there is none on the shelf, enter zero.)
- A line that came from the book cannot be deleted: "Satır \{n\} defterden geldi — silinemez. Rafta yoksa sıfır
  sayın." (Line \{n\} came from the book — it cannot be deleted. If there is none on the shelf, count zero.)
- A second line cannot be added for the same storage location, status and lot; update the quantity of the existing
  line.
