# Quality management

> Quarantine queue, inspection lot, release and rejection decision, inspection plan, quality notification and defect codes.

For a product whose master record has **Girişte kalite kontrol › Gerekli** (Quality inspection at receipt › Required)
set, the goods receipt (purchasing goods receipt, Goods Receipt without a reference document) and the production output
are posted to the **KARANTINA** (Quarantine) stock status, and an **inspection lot** is opened. Stock in quarantine
cannot be shipped, consumed or transferred. The goods move to available stock, or are rejected, through the quality
specialist's **usage decision**.

"Malı karantinaya alan kullanıcı kararı veremez — kayıt ikinci imza ister." (The user who put the goods into quarantine
cannot make the decision — the posting requires a second signature.) If the user who received the goods attempts the
decision: "Bu stoğu karantinaya siz aldınız — kalite kararını başka bir kullanıcı vermelidir. Malı içeri alan ile serbest
bırakan aynı kişi olamaz." (You put this stock into quarantine — another user must make the quality decision. The person
who received the goods and the person who releases them cannot be the same.)

Fields: Ürün (Product), Yeri (Location), **Miktar** (Quantity; a partial decision is possible; the remainder waits in
quarantine), for a serial-managed product **Seriler** (Serial Numbers), **Gerekçe** (Reason; mandatory — the decision
changes the usability of the goods), **Referans** (Reference; inspection report, certificate no., record). Step by step:

|---|---|
| **Serbest Bırakıldı** (Released) | The quantity in quarantine moves to the default (available) stock status. |
| **Reddedildi** (Rejected) | The quantity moves to the **Reddedildi** (Rejected; RED) status; it does not return to available stock and leaves through scrap or a return. |
| Red Kararını Düzelt (Correct Rejection Decision) | The rejection decision is not reversed; a new release decision is posted with its reason. |

Demo example: the decision for KP-2026-000001 (HAM-0070, batch SLES-2611-004, 400 KG) was made by **Demo Onaylayıcı**
(Demo Approver), not by Demo Kullanıcı (Demo User), who received the goods. The **Serbest Bırak — HAM-0070** (Release —
HAM-0070) dialog reads "Mal muayeneden geçti; kullanılabilir stoğa alınıyor ve sevk, sarf, transfer yollarına
açılıyor." (The goods passed inspection; they are being moved to available stock and opened for shipment, consumption
and transfer); under **Miktar** (Quantity) it shows "Karantinada 400 KG — kısmi karar verilebilir; kalan karantinada
bekler." (400 KG in quarantine — a partial decision is possible; the remainder waits in quarantine.), and under
**Gerekçe** (Reason) "Kayıt denetim izidir; boş bırakılamaz." (The record is an audit trail; it cannot be left empty.).

The decision posts a **Stok Durumu Değişimi** (Stock Status Change) movement (source document "Kalite Kararı" (Quality
Decision)); the warehouse and storage location do not change. The movement is a pair ("Stok durumu değişimi çifti"
(Stock status change pair)): an issue from the quarantine status and a receipt into the target status — in the example,
an issue of 400 KG from KARANTINA and a receipt of 400 KG into SIFIR.

The Kalite Kararları (Quality Decisions) list (Belge No (Document No.), İş Tarihi (Business Date), Karar (Decision),
Gerekçe (Reason), Miktar (Quantity), Kaydeden (Posted By), Kayıt Zamanı (Created At)) does not change; a correction is
made with a new decision. The document number has the format KLT-yyyy-nnnnnn (example: KLT-2026-000001 · Serbest
Bırakıldı (Released) · 400). The list is opened with the **Kararlar** (Decisions) button in **Kalite Kontrol** (Quality
Inspection); the **Karantina Kuyruğu** (Quarantine Queue) button returns to the queue.

List: Parti No (Lot No.; KP-yyyy-nnnnnn), Tarih (Date), Kaynak (Source: Mal girişi · Üretim çıktısı · Ara muayene
(Goods receipt · Production output · In-process inspection)), Ürün (Product), Depo · Göz · Lot (Warehouse · Bin ·
Batch), Açık / Miktar (Open / Quantity), Sonuç (Result), Durum (Status).

When a decision has been made for the lot, its status becomes **Karara Bağlandı** (Decided); the **Serbest · Red ·
Açık** (Released · Rejected · Open) row shows the distribution (example 400 · 0 · 0), the **Kullanım Kararları** (Usage
Decisions) table shows the decision and the target stock status ("Serbest Bırakıldı → SIFIR" (Released → SIFIR)); the
decision buttons disappear.

The details contain **Muayene Sonuçları** (Inspection Results; Özellik (Characteristic), Şartname (Specification), Sonuç
(Result), Değerlendirme (Evaluation): Uygun / Uygun değil / Girilmedi (Conforming / Nonconforming / Not entered)) and
**Sonuçları Kaydet** (Save Results); the **Serbest Bırak** (Release), **Reddet** (Reject) and **Partiyi Kapat** (Close
Lot) buttons; and the **Kullanım Kararları** (Usage Decisions) table. If the product has no inspection plan, the lot can
be decided without waiting for results. No decision can be made before the results of mandatory characteristics are
entered: "'\{parti\}' partisinde zorunlu özelliklerin sonucu girilmedi — kullanım kararı sonuç kaydından sonra
verilir." (The results of mandatory characteristics have not been entered for lot '\{parti\}' — the usage decision is
made after the results are recorded.)

## Inspection Plans

The characteristics to be measured per product and their limits; the inspection lot copies the plan the moment it is
created. Form: **Ürün** (Product; one plan per item), **Aktif** (Active), **Muayene Özellikleri** (Inspection
Characteristics: Özellik (Characteristic), Tür (Type): Nicel (ölçüm) / Nitel (uygun / değil) (Quantitative
(measurement) / Qualitative (conforming / not)), Alt Sınır (Lower Limit), Üst Sınır (Upper Limit), Birim (Unit),
Zorunlu (Mandatory), Operasyon (Operation)), inspection instructions, **Ara Muayene Noktaları** (In-Process Inspection
Points). Button **Planı Kaydet** (Save Plan). If the item does not require quality inspection, no lot is created.

## Quality Notifications and Defect Codes

**Kalite Bildirimleri** (Quality Notifications): customer complaints, supplier complaints and internal notifications;
they are closed with a root cause and corrective/preventive actions (8D). Statuses: Açık · İşlemde · Tamamlandı · İptal
(Open · In Process · Completed · Cancelled). Priority 1 — Çok yüksek (Very high) … 4 — Düşük (Low). A notification
cannot be completed before the root cause (D4) is written and the actions are completed. There is no stock effect.
**Kusur Kodları** (Defect Codes): the defect type of the notification (Kod (Code), Ad (Name), Durum (Status)).

## Rejection messages

| Reason | "Gerekçe zorunludur." (A reason is mandatory.) |
| Closed lot | "'\{parti\}' kontrol partisi kapandı — yeni karar verilemez." (Inspection lot '\{parti\}' is closed — no new decision can be made.) |
