# Warehouses and plants

> Definitions of plants, warehouses and storage locations (bins) within a warehouse — mandatory storage location, putaway, warehouse managers.

Stock movements are kept per **warehouse**. A warehouse belongs to a **plant** (factory, branch, distribution center);
**storage locations** (bin, shelf, block storage, goods receipt and shipping staging area) are defined within the
warehouse. Warehouses in the demo company: **HAMMADDE** (Hammadde Deposu — Raw Materials Warehouse), **KIMYA** (Kimya
Deposu — Chemicals Warehouse), **MAMUL** (Mamul Deposu — Finished Goods Warehouse), **MERKEZ** (Merkez Depo — Central
Warehouse).

## Plants

**Yönetim › Özelleştirme › Kuruluş Yapısı › Tesisler** (Administration › Customization › Organizational Structure ›
Plants) (`/erp/inventory/plants`). Columns: Kod (Code), Ad (Name), İl / İlçe (Province / District), Depo (Warehouse),
Varsayılan (Default), Durum (Status). The **Yeni Tesis** (New Plant) dialog: **Ad** (Name) and **Kod** (Code)
(mandatory), İl (Province), İlçe (District), Adres (Address), **Fabrika takvimi** (Factory calendar), **Aktif**
(Active), and in the **Nakil sevki** (Stock transport shipment) group, İç müşteri (Internal customer) and Sevk adresi
(Ship-to address).

- The default plant cannot be deactivated: "Varsayılan tesis pasife alınamaz — önce başka bir tesisi varsayılan yapın."
  (The default plant cannot be deactivated — first make another plant the default.)
- A plant that has an active warehouse cannot be deactivated: "'\{kod\}' tesisinde aktif depo var — önce depoları
  pasife alın ya da başka tesise bağlayın." (Plant '\{kod\}' has an active warehouse — first deactivate the warehouses
  or assign them to another plant.)

## Warehouse list

Columns: **Kod** (Code), **Ad** (Name), **Depo Türü** (Warehouse Type: Genel · Hammadde · Karantina · Üretim · Mamul ·
Yedek Parça · Hurda (General · Raw Material · Quarantine · Production · Finished Goods · Spare Parts · Scrap)),
**Tesis** (Plant), **Adres** (Address), **Sorumlular** (Managers), **Lokasyon** (Storage Location; count), **Durum**
(Status). Filters: Ara (Search), Depo türü (Warehouse type), Durum (Status). **Yeni Depo** (New Warehouse) opens the
dialog.

## New Warehouse / Edit Warehouse

| Genel (General) | **Ad** (Name) \*, **Kod** (Code) \* | The code is proposed from the name, converted to upper case, and must be unique; at most 32 characters. The name is at most 128 characters. |
| Genel (General) | **Depo Türü** (Warehouse Type), **Tesis** (Plant) \*, **Aktif** (Active) | A warehouse with stock cannot be moved to another plant. A warehouse with a stock balance cannot be deactivated. |
| Genel (General) | **Lokasyon seçimi zorunlu** (Storage location selection mandatory) | When enabled, selecting a storage location is mandatory for new movements in this warehouse. Before enabling it, no stock without a storage location may remain in the warehouse. |

Storage locations are added after the warehouse has been created.

Buttons: **Düzenle** (Edit), **Sorumlu Ekle** (Add Manager), **Lokasyon Ekle** (Add Storage Location), **Etiket
Yazdır** (Print Labels; labels of the selected bins; no label is printed for an inactive bin). The **Lokasyonlar**
(Storage Locations) table: Kod (Code), Ad (Name), Tip (Type), Tek ürün (Single product), Kapasite (Capacity;
"Sınırsız" (Unlimited)), Doluluk (Occupancy; "Boş" (Empty)), Durum (Status).

The **Yeni Lokasyon** (New Storage Location) dialog:

| **Ad** (Name) \*, **Kod** (Code) \* | The code is unique within the warehouse and cannot be changed after it has been saved (printed labels and the handheld terminal read this code). |
| **Aktif** (Active) | A storage location with stock cannot be deactivated. |
| **Tip** (Type) | Raf (Shelf) · Blok istif (Block storage) · Mal kabul alanı (Goods receipt area) · Sevk hazırlık alanı (Shipping staging area). Goods receipt and shipping staging areas are not included in putaway proposals. |
| **Ağırlık kapasitesi (kg)** (Weight capacity (kg)), **Hacim kapasitesi (L)** (Volume capacity (L)) | Empty = unlimited. A receipt into a bin without sufficient capacity is rejected. |
| **Tek ürün gözü** (Single-product bin) | When enabled, a new product cannot enter the bin while it holds stock of another product. |

**Depo sorumluları** (Warehouse managers): users assigned as managers see their own warehouses with the "Sorumlu
olduğum depolar" (Warehouses I manage) filter in the lists.

## Rejection messages

| Deactivating a warehouse with stock | "'\{kod\}' deposunda stok var — pasife alınamaz. Önce stoğu transfer edin veya çıkışını yapın." (Warehouse '\{kod\}' has stock — it cannot be deactivated. First transfer or issue the stock.) |
| Moving a warehouse with stock to another plant | "'\{kod\}' deposunda (ya da özel stoğunda) stok var — tesisi değiştirilemez." (Warehouse '\{kod\}' (or its special stock) has stock — its plant cannot be changed.) |
