# Create a sales contract

> Save the item prices and targets agreed with the customer as a draft contract and put it into effect.

- **Prerequisites:**
  - The customer is an **Aktif** (Active) business partner.
  - The contract items are active, sellable items that do not require configuration.

Example: a one-year cleaning products agreement with **M-0019 Lara Kıyı Otelcilik ve Turizm A.Ş.** — a target of
2,000 units at 235.00 TRY for liquid detergent, and a target of 3,000 units at 90.00 TRY for surface cleaner.

## Steps

1. Open **Satış › Sipariş Yönetimi › Satış Sözleşmesi Oluştur** (Sales › Order Management › Create Sales Contract).

2. Select the **Tür** (Type): **Miktar Sözleşmesi** (Quantity Contract) for a target quantity per item, or **Değer Sözleşmesi** (Value Contract) for a total amount target.

3. In the **Müşteri** (Customer) field, type the customer's code or name and select it from the list. Check the **Satış Kanalı** (Sales Channel) and **Para Birimi** (Currency).

4. Enter the **Geçerlilik Başlangıcı** (Valid From) and **Bitiş** (End) dates. For a value contract, **Hedef Tutar (net)** (Target Amount (net)) is also required.

5. In the **Ürün ekle** (Add item) field, type and select the item. On the line, enter the **Birim** (Unit), **Hedef Miktar** (Target Quantity) and **Birim Fiyat (net)** (Unit Price (net)). Repeat for each item.

   4. Target quantity — call-offs cannot exceed it
   5. Contract price — copied to the order
   6. Save Draft

6. Click **Taslağı Kaydet** (Save Draft).

7. In the details, click **Yürürlüğe Al** (Put into Effect).

   2. Called off — from approved orders
   3. Remaining target
   4. Call-off orders
   5. Close — remainder no longer callable

**Result:** The contract becomes **Yürürlükte** (In Effect) with number **SSZ-yyyy-nnnnnn**. ## What you need to know

- A draft contract is changed with **Düzenle** (Edit); a contract in effect cannot be changed ("Yalnız taslak sözleşme
  düzenlenir." — Only a draft contract can be edited.).
- Validations in the form: "Müşteriyi seçin." (Select the customer.), "Geçerlilik başlangıç ve bitişini seçin."
  (Select the validity start and end.), "Geçerlilik bitişi başlangıçtan önce olamaz." (The validity end cannot be before
  the start.), "Sözleşme en az bir kalem ister." (The contract requires at least one item.), "Değer sözleşmesinde hedef
  tutar sıfırdan büyük olmalı." (In a value contract, the target amount must be greater than zero.) In a quantity
  contract, an empty target quantity gives "…: miktar sözleşmesinde hedef miktar sıfırdan büyük olmalı." (…: in a
  quantity contract, the target quantity must be greater than zero.) The same item can appear only once with the same
  unit.
- If the server rejects an item: "Sözleşme kalemi aktif, satılabilir ve somut (yapılandırma istemeyen) bir kart
  olmalı." (A contract item must be an active, sellable and concrete item (one that does not require configuration).)
- A contract can have at most 200 items.
