# Outline agreements

> A periodic quantity, value or scheduling agreement with a supplier — types, statuses, release orders and rules.

An outline agreement is a price and a target agreed with a supplier for a specific period. Once the agreement is
**put into effect**, order lines are linked to the agreement (**release**); the line's price comes from the
agreement and the released quantity/amount counts towards the target.

Columns: Sözleşme No (Agreement No), **Tür** (Type), Tedarikçi (Supplier), **Geçerlilik** (Validity), Hedef Tutar
(Target Amount), **Durum** (Status). Filters: Ara (Search), Durum (Status).

**Taslağı Kaydet** (Save Draft) saves the agreement as **Taslak** (Draft).

## Statuses and actions

If there is an order line linked to the agreement, cancellation is rejected: "Sözleşmeye bağlı sipariş satırı var
— iptal yerine kapatın." (There is an order line linked to the agreement — close it instead of cancelling.)

## Release

- **From an order line:** On the order form, the agreement is selected in the line details. Rules: the agreement
  must be in effect, belong to the same supplier, be in the same currency and be valid on the order date; the item
  and unit must be the same as the agreement item; the price comes from the agreement and no line discount can be
  entered; the total released cannot exceed the target.
- **From the scheduling agreement:** Dated lines are entered in the **Teslimat Planı** (Delivery Schedule) section
  of the details (the schedule cannot exceed the target, and the day must be within the agreement's validity).
  **Vadesi Gelenleri Çağır** (Release Due Lines) converts the lines due up to the selected date into **draft release
  orders**; **Sipariş Tarihi** (Order Date) is the date of the order to be created.

## Rejection messages

In the message, ‹Sözleşme No› is replaced with the agreement number.
