# Complete a shipment

> Record the arrival of a shipment in transit and close the shipment; a carrier shipment becomes ready for freight settlement.

- **Prerequisites:**
  - The shipment is in **Yolda** (In Transit) status.

## Steps

1. In the shipment details, check that the delivery events of the stops have been recorded (the **Teslim** (Delivery) column).

2. Click **Tamamla** (Complete).

3. Check the **Varış** (Arrival) time (the default is now) and click **Tamamla** (Complete) in the window.

   1. Status: Completed
   2. Load compared with capacity
   3. Delivery and receiver per stop
   4. Settled freight is not recalculated

**Result:** The shipment is in **Tamamlandı** (Completed) status; event recording is closed. If the freight of a carrier shipment has been calculated, the shipment can be included in a [freight settlement](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/lojistik/islemler/navlun-hesaplasmasi-olusturma).

## What you need to know

- Only a shipment in transit can be completed (*"Yalnız yoldaki sefer tamamlanır."* (Only a shipment in transit can be
  completed.)); the arrival cannot be before the departure.
- Completing the shipment does not change the deliveries; the proof of delivery is recorded separately from the
  delivery details.
- The freight card also shows **Yeniden Hesapla** (Recalculate) on a completed shipment (until it is included in a
  settlement).
