# Create a freight agreement

> Define the tiered freight tariff of a carrier (purchasing) or a customer (sales).

  - For a carrier agreement, the carrier has been [defined](https://erpdocs.corexlogic.com/en/lojistik/islemler/tasiyici-tanimlama); for a customer agreement, the customer card is active.

## Steps

1. On the **Lojistik Yönetimi › Ana Veriler › Navlun Anlaşmaları** (Logistics Management › Master Data › Freight Agreements) screen, click **Anlaşma Ekle** (Add Agreement).

2. Select the **Tür** (Type): **Taşıyıcı (alış)** (Carrier (purchasing)) is for the cost of a shipment, **Müşteri (satış)** (Customer (sales)) is for the charge of a transport order.

3. Select the **Taşıyıcı** (Carrier) (for a customer agreement, the **Müşteri** (Customer)).

4. Enter the **Ad** (Name); the **Kod** (Code) is suggested from the name, and you can overwrite it. Check the **Para Birimi** (Currency).

5. Enter the start and (if any) end of the **Geçerlilik** (Validity).

6. In the **Tarife** (Tariff) table, enter the **Dayanak** (Basis), **Kademe (başlangıç)** (Tier (from)), **Birim Ücret** (Unit Rate) and, if necessary, the **En Az Ücret** (Minimum Charge) of the first line; for another basis or tier, click **Satır Ekle** (Add Line).

7. Click **Oluştur** (Create).

**Result:** On the carrier's shipments, freight is calculated from this agreement (the shipment's departure date must be within the validity range); a customer agreement gives the charge of a transport order.

## What you need to know

- The highest tier reached by the quantity is applied. In the sample tariff, the freight for a 450 km shipment is
  1,500 + 450 × 12 = 6,900 TRY; at 500 km and above, the per-km rate is 10 TRY.
- The per-shipment rate has no tiers; the same tier cannot be defined twice for the same basis; up to 50 lines.
- Type and party cannot be changed after creation — create a new agreement for a different party.
- If a carrier has more than one agreement valid on the same day, the one with the most recent start date is used.
- A saved agreement is opened with the row's **İşlemler › Düzenle** (Actions › Edit) menu; if it will no longer be
  used, clear the **Aktif** (Active) check box.
